Special for Arbaeen: English Edition of Illustrated Series 'The Story of Agha' Released

A new illustrated series depicting 238 scenes from 37 years of struggle and endeavor by Martyr Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has been published in English for the Arbaeen pilgrimage season.

Hawzah News Agency- A pilgrim from Nigeria, Pakistan, or Lebanon stops before the wall of an Iranian Mowkib along the Najaf-to-Karbala route. They may not understand Persian, but before their eyes unfold 238 illustrated scenes telling a story that needs no translator: The Story of Agha.

For thirty-seven uninterrupted years, Agha was writing the story of a strong Iran—from a small mosque at the end of Mashhad's Sarshur Bazaar to the final chapter, when his martyrdom parted the waters. The "Story of Agha" collection narrates those thirty-seven years in 37 tales; each paired with a Quranic verse by which Martyr Imam Khameni lived.

The English edition, produced in comic-strip format with exhibition-quality print, has been released to coincide with Arbaeen, enabling Mowkib organizers and cultural groups to share this narrative with pilgrims from across the globe. An Arabic edition will soon follow.

The "Story of Agha" collection has been published by the Cultural Affairs Department of the Women's Islamic Seminaries.
